Today, I am wearing my new Naked Tank. I’m so excited to have this tank top for breastfeeding, because it turns any shirt in my wardrobe into a BF friendly shirt! It eliminates the need to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe for nursing. My biggest struggle with buying tops is that I usually need a larger size to accommodate my bust, but then it’s too baggy everywhere else. The Naked Tank has a unique under-the-bust fit, so I can wear whichever bra I want with it, and it fits my midsection so perfectly and so comfortably! I obviously haven’t gotten to put it to the test with nursing yet, but I will definitely be sharing more feedback once I do! For now, I’ve just gotten to wear it underneath my regular shirts, and it is seriously the comfiest tank I own! It’s also pretty long, which is absolutely perfect for me since I love layering! I’m definitely going to be getting some more of these tanks in every colour! Another cool tidbit of info about Naked Tank, is that they are made in Canada – I adore finding Canadian made goods! This is such a great investment for any new mamas or mamas-to-be, and also a great gift idea for anyone you know who is expecting!
I keep “remembering” that I’m 38 weeks pregnant (almost 39!), and our baby could decide he/she wants to meet us at any given moment! It still feels so surreal to me! I’m still feeling pretty good, but I am definitely starting to get more and more uncomfortable. It takes me a ridiculously long time to fall asleep – Some nights it’s 2 or 3 am before I finally fall asleep. I’ve also started to get those “lightning crotch” pains, which are definitely not a pleasant feeling (BTW, how awkward is the term “lightning crotch”, apparently also known as “fanny daggers”… At least there’s a little humour in this situation!) I can also report that officially have the pregnancy waddle going on, and I LITERALLY have to pee every 5 minutes.
We are ready for the baby anytime now, but I don’t really feel that “OMG, I’m so done being pregnant” feeling that so many women seem to experience… yet. Our family is so eager for the baby to be born – Every time they miss a call from me, and call me back they’re totally like “What’s going on?!?!” It’s so funny, and so sweet! It could be any day now, but I totally have the feeling like I’m going to be overdue! But I suppose only time will tell!
